I think it's kind of a good balance to have both Dr. Sharktopus and I working on this story... when this comic first started and I was just working on commission per-page for Dr. Sharktopus the entire intent of the story was to get to Jenna and Karen hooking up... there were ideas for other plot elements but he wasn't expecting to be able to fund a full series on his own, so he had sort of settled on JennaxKaren being the endgame for the whole series. However, when I got in on the comic I became really attached to Lily, and I personally wanted her to hook up with Jenna as the primary love interest. If I was writing this comic on my own I wouldn't have really introduced the JennaxKaren subplot, and if Dr. Sharktopus hadn't there wouldn't really be this JennaxLily stuff... we've got some fun stuff planned for the series going forward, and for now while the conflict with Anastasia takes a bit of a backseat after her confrontation with Bianca the next couple chapters will focus more on Jenna and her primary love interests.
