So... I think that Thanksgiving has become my least favorite holiday of the year. For a while that was just because I was working in retail, and Thanksgiving had basically just become Black Friday. So that was terrible... but even now that I'm self-employed Thanksgiving basically amounts to subjecting myself to poorly cooked food and casual racism from family members I would otherwise avoid. Turkey doesn't have to be dry! There's a lot of things you can do to a Turkey so that it will still have juices inside! I had actually never had non-dry turkey until I was an adult, and the first time I did it was mind blowing because it seemed like magic at that point. I know it's hard to cook a lot of food for a large group of people, but honestly I'd rather have less food on Thanksgiving if it's at least cooked well.

Also, I know I really should have started the poll for the next Side Dishes page by now, but it's just been a really weird, draining week. I'll get it posted first thing tomorrow morning

The only non dry turkey I've had was a deep fried one. And that never happened until last year, so I know how that part feels.
