Some of the weirder stuff Cassandra does and says in this chapter is actually inspired by a specific episode of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. The stuff about buying cakes from other bakeries and just reselling them, as well as her justification about how she could have made them all comes from the episode about Amy's Baking Company. Aside from being why her bakery is called "Cassandra's Baking Company", I actually used Amy's Baking Company as reference for the exterior (although the interior isn't really based on anything specific).
