Banana Shortcake 6-10: Hi-Res (Patreon)

In retrospect I think I might have played Amy a bit too "mean" in this story. In the actual show, there's a running gag of Amy saying insensitive stuff without realizing it, but in the show they're likely to only use that joke once every couple of episodes, but I fit the joke in several times in this short story. I guess it's just a nice source of humor between Amy and Leela.

Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed this Shortcake story! I had fun with it as well, if only because it was exciting to work with such a drastically different art style to how I normally draw, and to sort of create a middle ground art style. I wouldn't say that I nailed it perfectly, but for a first attempt at this kind of hybrid style I feel like I did a good job. I think that the hybrid style came together a little more naturally for the Star Wars: Clone Wars short story, since that style was a little more realistic to begin with.

Also, remember to share any ideas you have for the next Side Dishes chapter! I've gotten one suggestion so far, which involves Jenna as a fertility doctor, and I think you can guess how she helps lol. You don't even really need a complex or full idea... you can post something as simple as a genre and which character you'd like to focus on.
