Side Dishes: Chapter 2: Page 3 (Patreon)

Another page of Side Dishes! Dr. Sharktopus hasn't been online much, so we didn't get to discuss the names as much as I would like, so I pretty much made the decision on the names myself. I went with Brunhilde partly because it's... honestly kind of generic, while still sounding quite feminine. The other name suggested that I liked most was Astrid, but I was worried people would think too much about How I Trained Your Dragon with her. Then for Liang I liked that it translates as "The Bright One," since it's nice to have a bit of meaning behind a name. In that same vein I went with Daphne as a name since she's visibly based on the model Penny Underbust, who did a photo shoot dressed as Velma from Scooby-Doo, so I though it would be funny to name her after other girl from Scooby-Doo. And unfortunately, it looks like I missed the mark on midnight again, but at least this time I have the excuse that it was daylight savings time and I lost an hour. So now we have to decide what to do next in the story... whether we want to catch up with Jenna and Lily, or keep going with Kat and the new girls. My plan, visually, is to make the Nah-Ri tribe more covered with tattoos and piercings, but wearing a lot less clothes, while the Foo-Tah tribe doesn't have as many tattoos or piercings, but they wear more clothes.
