The Sphinx is wearing a different outfit from what she was wearing in her last appearance. I just didn't want to give the impression that she just wears the same outfit every day for millenia.

The Sphinx's appearance in this chapter was partly just to justify that third panel. I don't know why... I just find it really funny to show people reacting to a huge monster appearing in front of them.
