BCC 26-14: Low-Res Early Access (Patreon)

After playing Dragon Ball Fighterz, I wanted to get some context on who the new characters were from Dragonball Super, so I signed up for the Funimation streaming service so I could watch episodes while I work. I caught up on all the pages they have dubbed, but it kind of got me in the mood for more cheesy anime, so I've been watching more since then.

Anyway, I mostly brought that up to talk about nosebleeds. For anyone not familiar with this extremely common anime trope, in anime it's common for someone, at the sight of something erotic, to suddenly spout a nosebleed. You may note that this is not physically something that happens in real life. Which has me wondering why it's such a persistent trope... do we have anything like that in America (or, I suppose, any other Western cultures). Just a bodily function that doesn't exist being presented casually and without explanation in media. I've heard the nosebleeds are meant to be some kind of shorthand for an erection or just outright ejaculation, but it's still pretty unusual.
