It sucks having to do some incidental shopping around Christmas. Like... I wasn't buying anything for Christmas... just some stuff I needed around the house and some food. On the plus side, when I did get to the store I was pretty much just in the parts of the store that almost no one else was in, since they were mostly buying last minute toys or whatever.

Still, it was annoying going to the store, so on the way out we decided to grab some ciders, since my wife prefers them to beers. But when we got up front... she hadn't bothered to grab her wallet on the way out, since I was planning to pay for everything. But for some reason the cashier insisted on seeing both of our IDs before selling us anything. So uh... no cider tonight.
