BCC 24-19: Hi-Res (Patreon)

I've been seeing a bit of a mixed reaction to Inara since she's just so muscular. It's a character design that I've really enjoyed lately, but I have to admit that it's hard to get it looking right. Inara's pretty much at the peak of how buff I feel like a character can be and still be sexy to me... beyond that point it starts to get a little cartoonish. Although that's just my own taste... some of what I've seen other people draw is just too extreme for me... I can never really get behind the kind of art where someone's muscles are so bulging and defined that it kind of looks like they're wearing some kind of bizarre meat suit.
