We all knew those tits were going to have to come out eventually. The doctor's character design has actually gone through a lot of tweaking... when Dr. Sharktopus first pitched this character he pretty much just expected her to be white... it was my idea to make her black to add some more diversity to the women in the story. After that we knew she would have massive tits, but beyond that hadn't finalized too much more of her design. We were discussing hair and I initially brought up the idea of giving her just a straight up afro... Dr. Sharktopus didn't really like the idea since to him afros mostly look humorous, and I suppose it is true that, these days, if someone has a big afro it's mostly played for laughs. But after bringing up the idea of giving her a huge 60's afro that I thought it would be fun to give her the personality of a blaxploitation heroine, and with that in mind for her personality it helped to define the rest of her appearance and wardrobe.
