So, I hadn't actually planned to make a Michael Jackson joke in the third panel. CGI just flatted it that way as a gag, since something about the imagery of this page reminded him of Billie Jean. I think he was expecting me to just change the lit up panel back to normal colors, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to just leave it in. There's plenty of magic powers in this series, so it's not too ridiculous to imagine there's some guy who can make tiles light up.
