BCC 24-01: Hi-Res Early Access (Patreon)

 The whole wand bit was partly just me wanting to expand on the rules of magic in this world, but also I had this idea for Anastasia's reaction, partly inspired by something in the Sandman comics. There's a story arc focused on a gathering of serial killers, and it's sort of revealed that a lot of stuff we know about serial killers is only really known about the guys who were bad enough at it to get caught. So it makes some sense that some of the stuff we know about witches comes more from the ones who did something suspicious enough to get caught.
