BCC 23-02 PSD (Patreon)

This page is going up a bit later than usual, because I was watching an opening-night release for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. If you liked the first movie, I think you're definitely going to like this one. The story feels a bit slow getting started, but there's plenty of action through out, and the finale feels, I think, better than the first.

Another thing the movie does better than the first movie, as well as better than most Marvel films, is have a good, memorable, interesting villain. I won't get into spoilers, but the villain has some very deep ties to one of the leads and it recontextualizes a lot of seemingly innocuous stuff from the first film.
