Cait was exactly right about that some people just want friends and don't care about what comes with it. In the original webtoon bumseok's entire character was about being popular but they made him a bit more dimensional in the show however Bumseok still cares a lot about being popular. That's actually the whole reason he approached Sieun and Sooho if you look back.. the people at his lunch table talked about how cool they were then in the next scene he finally decides to approach Sooho to help Sieun and joins the duo. He desperately wants friends but doesn't realize friendship is deeper than surface level and people can have multiple friends. All his relationships in life were either abusive or surface level. Also the Instagram thing Sooho probably just never saw the follow + Bumseok never sent the "follow me back" text. He's been a victim so long that he doesn't recognize when people aren't deliberately ostracizing or targeting him. On the other end, Sooho is such an extrovert and has a big personality that he doesn't realize when he could be overbearing. All in all, Bumseok is a victim that desperately wants to escape being victimized no matter what. Even if it means becoming the perpetrator... Long comment lol but I was waiting for this episode because you guys loved him so much I couldn't dare to mention it earlier
