It's about time we had another poll for the main map series theme. I will be finishing Ruin and Rebuild this month (at least for now) and I want to see what you would all like next! We have a few options:

Keeps & Castles - We have a couple of larger fort maps like Thestwick Watch, but I have ideas for a number of other themed castles, keeps, fortresses and bases that could fit a variety of locations and settings. This theme would include maps like a Grimdark Gothic Castle, a Tropical Island Fortess, a Fortified Military Encampment, a Bridge Garrison, and Knightly Tournament Grounds.

The High Seas - We will explore Sinbarr Island and its surrounding waters. The Reclusive Cartographer created an exciting town map for us and I can't wait to flesh out some of the locations. This theme would include maps like Exotic Ships, Hidden Coves, Pirate Islands, Shipwrecks, Sinbarr Fort, The Governor's Residence, Sinbarr Town and the Sinder Volcano.

Dungeon Crawls - I've had fun lately doing a few maps that fit the classic dungeon crawl theme with a series of connected rooms for encounters, traps, puzzles and a final 'boss' fight. These might be dungeons, but could also be cellars, caves and other underground locations.

Bharzul, The Mountain City - A new addition to our series of fully fleshed out settlements in Cartosia. Bharzul is far older the Dorran, Ostenwold and even Samarahd. Built by dwarves, it sits at a crossroads within the Dawn Lands atop a mighty waterfall. To the South is the young Dorric Empire, to the North the Moribund Sea and Northern Wilds, to the East the Epicouatl Mountains and to the West the Ruined City of Elaria. After Elaria fell, the dwarves retreated to their mountain city and the connected underground complex to watch and wait.
This map series would explore the above ground city of Bharzul, as well as the the tunnels and structures hidden within the mountains.

We will also continue to do more Monster Lair maps occasionally, like the recent dragon lairs series.

I'm surprised that so many people voted for keeps and castles. Tom has made a lot of those. Many other cartographers have made castle maps. More sea-themed maps would be nice, but somehow people don't care about those?

In topic of keeps -- Could you from time to time include bigger map with the keeps surroundings? It would make closing the distance an interesting part of the story -- especially if its not an open plain, but featured terrain!

Bharzul is perfect for my campaign where the dwarves are underground dwelling proud folk

Can't click on the poll for some reason, but High Seas sounds quite interesting. Something different from castles and woodlands, but with a lot of creative possibilities

I can't ever have enough of any of these, so I picked the option that I would likely use the most: dungeons. Especially different types of dungeons.

YAR! Gimme more sea adventures, coves, and ship battles!!!

I'm running a campaign on the Dawn Lands map and I've been wanting to send my players to Bharzul so bad. Dwarven architecture is amazing and a fantastic setting for deep dives, dungeon delves, and horrors in the deep!

Could use a dragon turtle shell gnome mechanical sea vessel for the open seas.

I love all these themes! But I desperately need more Zelda-esque dungeons ;_;

I'll be happy with pretty much any of these, but would love a nice complex dungeon :)
