Everything you do is amazing! When you complete a map like the Town of Ostenwold, you use smaller assets found in your Starter Town Map set. What ratio do you use when you compare the smaller buildings to the individual larger ones you make available? I want to build a wild west town map of the town and its area, similar to what you did with the Ostenwold Town Map, and I'm trying to figure out what the right scale would be if I were to take "full-sized" assets and shrink them down. Thanks in advance Tom for your time and consideration.

tomcartos

Thanks Lee! I think I made the Ostenwold map at a 1 inch = 30ft scale, although it depends on the map. You would need to scale the assets down to 16.7% or 6x for them to match this scale, although they were not designed to be used in that way so you may find some of them are too small and pixelated at that scale. Larger objects like trees will probably work though.

This is amazing. I haven't seen many people create awesome locations that all tie together into a BIGGER location! Now I want to go visit Ostenwold haha.

Amazing full city bundle! Definitely gonna put it to use.

Probably kinda late coming with this, but in the "Renées Ravishing Raiments" pack, you've forgotten the "Stone" and "Grass" parts in the file names. (the files in the Stone and Grass subfolders have the same names)

Would be awesome if we had these maps pre-compiled for Roll20 too, rather then throwing them all in a big picture in PS but still amazing work!

Hi Ethan, unfortunately Roll20 doesn't allow 3rd party setup of modules like other VTTs do, but you can buy the entire set already set up on Roll20: https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/search?keywords=starter%20town%20tom%20cartos&category=Art:Maps

Hey Tom, Yeah I purchased both the Dreams in the Witch Room and The Atrophy of Flesh campaigns already and I'm just about to start our first session! But I was just saying this cause in Part 3 of DITWR it says "For a full map and more information on the Eastwatch Garrison, check out Tom Cartos’ Patreon or the sequel to this adventure." I purchased the sequel but it didn't include the map prebuilt. Luckily you're patreon has everything I need for all the town's buildings but I just mean it would be nice if the traveller or builder packs came with fully preassembled images like in the campaigns have setup I made one in PS to show you what I mean https://imgur.com/a/ZHPG5hf. Not necessary of course just one of those QoL cause im having issues getting the images to be 5mb to upload as maps lol

tomcartos

Hi Ethan, that is the same reason I don't do them. It is impossible to get an image like that below 5mb without a huge loss of quality. The ones in the Roll20 modules are placed as separate maps images in one canvas.

Hey, DM Dave has a Skeleton Tomb little mini adventure with one of your maps. His links lead here, but I'm not quite sure how to find the player version of the map. Do you know what he's intending to link to? (I'm not a Patreon of DM Dave yet, but am at the Traveller level here...

tomcartos

Hey Matt, I'm pretty sure that adventure uses the tomb level of the 'Church of the Everlight' set. Its in the Ostenwold Starter Town series.
