The Mindforged were a religious sect of the dwarves who previously inhabited the abandoned kingdom. Above all else they respected intellect, learning and a calm mind. To ensure a high level of capability among their number, acolytes would have to pass a test, a hidden maze somewhere within the temple complex. It is said that a great treasure lies at the end of the maze, to be claimed by those who are worthy.

The puzzles and traps found throughout the complex are not solely intended to test the intelligence of the acolytes, but also attempt to infuriate them. Only those with an inner stillness and patience to match their keen mind will succeed.

These maps were commissioned by one of our Imperator tier Patrons and inspired by the Dwarvenhearth adventures from Monte Cook's 'Ptolus:City by the Spire'

Use the link at the top of this post to download the day and night variants of all three levels of the map set in Print and/or VTT format. I have included some ideas and suggestions for puzzles and traps when running the temple.

I just found this map set now and am so excited. I can see that there must have been some kind of collaboration between the map-making and the dungeon key-making that really brings this to the next level. More of this, please!!!

Beautiful, and I love all the dwarven stuff lately. But can you help me a liottle with the connections between levels? I see the big square "spiral" stair leading from level 2 to level 3, but where does it connect to level 1, or does it even connect? And what about all the little staircases? Thanks.

Hi Brian, thanks very much! There is a PDF in the download folder that should explain a lot of this. The spiral stair is hidden below the patterned floor in the temple on the first level. Almost all of the small staircases/steps are false and just lead up and down on the same level.

Thousands of thanks for your great work ! It is always impressive ! Just a small error here : the file "Day/TC_Dwarven Kingdom Temple 03 Vault_Grid_Hidden Secrets.jpg " is actually without grid, while the NoGrid version is gridded.

I just came across your free version of this today. I took a look and saved it. Then I stopped. I started going through the map and noticing a lot of details, and charm that I didn't notice right away the first time. It's clear a lot of dedication and love goes into these. So I decided to become a supporter. Your work is brilliant, I'm looking forward to browse the rest of your content. Thank you!

As a sidenote. The style of your maps remind me a lot of the SNES graphics for some reason. Just better. They're amazing.
