I'm not exaggerating when I say that this week was one of the most significant moments of my life. After years of going through all sorts of infections from it, I finally went through surgery to remove my tonsils. Sounds strange, I know, but it was something that I very much needed and possibly the biggest wellbeing move I'd done for myself yet. However, beforehand, I wanted to make sure I was able to get everything video-wise complete before the surgery. And as you saw from this week's review, I worked extra hard to have my schedule for the month all set. I won't have a lot to say, but here's how my week has been.

- Created and released my review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem: I wouldn't say that I rushed to get this review done, since I made sure the quality of the video is still solid enough to put it on my channel, but I marathoned through and worked non-stop to get it done and ready before my surgery. It did help that I was able to catch an early screening on Monday evening, and from there, I was determined to get that review done on time. Admittedly, I was able to finish the review and have it be uploaded after 2AM. I'm a night owl, but even that was insane by my standards. And yet, I was still able to get the job done and was a big relief that I no longer have to worry about making videos before the big moment. As for the movie itself, while I will admit that it was a bit disappointing that the story was weak and that it kind of felt like a generic kids' flick at time, but I will give it that it is still good with the other elements that they got right like the animation, the voice acting and the action scenes. I feel doubtful that I'd put it amongst the best animated films I've seen this year, but this was still a solid effort.

- Taking a Break because of my Tonsillectomy: Like I said, my tonsils have been plaguing my life with frequent illnesses (even one time was a case so bad that it sent me to the ER). And now I've received the life-changing surgery to make sure that I no longer have to feel that pain ever again. However, the only catch is that I'd have to take a break for the next several days to make sure my body can properly adjust to the new change. And yes, that even means not working on my videos until I get some energy back. In fact, this blog is the only thing I worked on since my operation. I'm honestly not sure when exactly I'll see myself back to work, but there is a good chance that I'll get started and do some editing starting later next week when I'll be near the end of this tonsillectomy journey. For now, I'm gonna be in full recovery mode and make sure my mouth can get all healed up before starting a new and better life with a new and better throat.

And that's the summary of my life-changing week. I'd like to thank everyone showing support during this time. I did not expect that my posts about my surgery would gather a good amount of attention and a lot of love. I'll be sure to take care of myself with a lot of rest, a lot of liquids, and of course, a lot of ice cream! So, until next time...

See ya later, dudes!
