a quick breakdown of my process:
I use clip studio paint's "refer all layers" fill tool and color-pick from previous pages in the scene to do flats. (I don't always color pick, but i learned that for scenes like this it helps to keep some lighting things consistent). I move into paint tool SAI for additional coloring and painting, making sure to fill out the background colors where the fill tool didn't catch everything. Then it's back to clip studio paint, where i'll add detail.
