Captain Marvel! (Patreon)

Here's this month's exclusive!

I have to admit, I've never liked Captain Marvel neither Mar-Vell nor Carol Danvers, never saw the point of the character and it was never interesting. However I did find their relationship interesting.
But Mar-Vell was killed off for some reason and Carol was in limbo doing her own thing for a while until 2015/2016 where they gave her the spotlight. My guess if that Marvel wanted to have their own Wonder Woman, their own female character that could work on her own without being part of a team. (Marvel has some pretty iconic female characters like Storm, Sue Storm, Jean Grey, She Hulk etc. But they are famous for being part of certain teams) and so they made her Captain Marvel.
I was never into the character nor the design, didn't watch her movie. But a few years ago, one of my favorite artists from twitter, DeputyRustArt, made a cute redesign of her which I loved. I really liked his take on her and I soon as I saw her I knew I had to draw her. I kept putting it off for months until recently. Since I'm doing this monthly marvel thing I assumed the best time to do it was now!

I really like Deputy's stuff. If he were a NSFW artist I'd draw fanart for him constantly but... He's relatively SFW so I don't want to bother him with my filthy thoughts.
