Hey everyone!

Very hot summer and very hot tutorials coming up!
In this 2nd part we are exploring some nice design driven procedural tearing effects. So glad that houdini type of effects are now available in c4d!

Let me know if any questions below,

Cheers!

wow, this is soo cool one thing that was confusing me was the connector and why you used 2connectors. for pulling when you are already pulling it from the very first connector so what exactly is the 2nd one doing? Is it possible to use just one? sorry for the long question mate. really appreciate your efforts :)

Hey buddy :) thanks for the kind words. Well u can either use 1 connector for both objects (as its based on distance) or 2 for better control. In my case i used 2 cause maybe i wanted the top or the bottom to grab more points.

Did you every find a work around for texturing? Would really like to get a redshift material on there. I also was trying vertex color map but it seemed I had to make a super high resolution spline in order to get a high resolution texture to look good which then killed performance.

Vertex color is the only way. It doesnt lag here btw with my setups. Bake as alembic/freeze color map would be a good bet here
