July 2024 News & Personal Updates (Patreon)

Happy Canada day and overall freedom and burgers month, I'm here with the first of the month news and updates for July 2024!

News:

For July I have several Patron sketches from June I need to finish up this first week. I would like to draw something for Fourth of July but that's just brainstorming if any thing right now.

A lot of it comes down to time and that takes me to the personal bit of news. I am not pleased with myself for being late on some of the E.T.A.s on the patreon rewards here over the past months, it's something I've been trying to find solutions for to avoid it happening again.

I'm not looking for any sympathy, I bring this up for context and transparency on my situation and how it effects your rewards here. It's something I don't like talking about but I have mentioned it once before and basically I watch over and take care of one of my grandparents; and as the years keep progressing the number of responsibilities keeps growing. They're not difficult responsibilities either but just time consuming ones, like making meals and driving and waiting at appointments. I'm really hoping to nip this problem of late deadlines in the butt by next month though. One solution I'm trying is to establish a schedule with my grandparent for routine things and another is to get a bit more help from the another relative that already lives with us.

Either way I am optimistic for the future and that I can return to a more timely art schedule here for the benefit of you. I suppose this is a good time to share a picture of some of my cooking while I'm at it.

Now as per usual this month's Round 1 Character Poll will open July 3rd for ~24 hours and the Round 2 Run Off poll will be on the 4th and conclude on the 5th. I will be able to tally the votes soon after and announce the winners later that day along with their belly combination. Big Burger and Full Combo tier patrons that are looking to suggest a character this month either DM me here or check out the "Character Suggestion" post from this morning in order to do so.
