This is a bit hard to show in a video but let's try;

In Night-Runners, when you have a stock handbrake in your car the handbrake input is a toggle button. Which means that you press the handbrake button once to turn it on, and then have to press it again to turn it off. But when you upgrade the handbrake to a drift-button handbrake or a hydro, the handbrake button becomes press and hold.

In the first driving clip I have a stock handbrake, and in the second driving clip I have a hydro. You can see in the second clip I can spam the handbrake really fast if I want to. But in the first clip It's slower since I have to press once, then press again.

There's a little ((HANDBRAKE)) UI symbol so that players know when the handbrake is active, as it's easy to forget you have your handbrake enabled.

This was something I made ages ago, I think it's a cool way of giving handbrake upgrades actual purpose and it makes stock handbrake drifting more challenging, kind of like real-life :)

The car in the video is 100% stock, which is why it sounds different (car sounds change when you upgrade the exhaust).

(Video recorded in editor; runs at lower than normal FPS and not at full resolution)
