Hey everyone, a little bit of a "backend" update. Recently I've been looking into better ways to plan out animations. There's a lot of different solutions out there but the challenge is always finding one that suites your needs and works well with you. I think I've found a decent all-in-one solution that lets me quickly plan things out and do a bit of mind mapping to help me figure things out. In the past I've never really been one for notes or writing things down, but lately I feel like I've been constantly overwhelming myself with trying to keep things in my head and so far just testing this out today it seems like it's helping a lot.

So before I've tried writing screenplays and storyboards and having reference boards with mixed success. One big factor is these were all done in different programs, opening and switching back and forth kinda becomes a pain. But recently I found out the the note taking app Obsidian has a "Canvas" feature. It lets you create a whiteboard/mind map/chart style setups that are super simple to make but look really nice imo. This easily lets me be a bit more free form with my ideas and kinda experiment with stuff before getting into blender. I tend to lock onto my ideas too much, where perfectionism can easily kick in because if something doesn't look how I have it in my head, I tend to lose motivation to work on it pretty quick. So this lets me be more free form with my thoughts, thus less commitment hopefully negating some of that perfectionist mentality.

This also lets me share ideas with other people, get feedback, and make improvements along the way. I'm super happy with how this is shaping up and has revitalized the energy I had for this project in the beginning. Looking forward to sharing updates with you guys as I progress more!
