Behold, one of maaaaybe two published comic pages I've ever drawn that I didn't also write, for the Dark Horse comic The Guild: Tink. To quote the solicitation copy: "Felicia Day returns to her Internet and comics sensation The Guild with a story spotlighting the Knights of Good’s most mysterious member, Tinkerballa!"
Alas, I don't have access to a lettered version of the page, so you're on your own as to figuring out what the heck's going on. I assume this scene was a riff on anime tropes, which is why I was asked to draw it. Here's my first pass at the rough:
A second draft changed the main Tink figure's pose:
I rarely bother to scan my finished pencils, so we'll have to skip ahead to the inks:
Next up, two pages of perhaps excessively detailed color guides for the great Emily Warren (no relation), who colored the piece (and also did the artwork for the one-shot Empowered: Ten Questions for the Maidman):
Emily also colored the cover to Empowered vol. 6, hence the "LIKE EMP 6 COVER" note above.
