Yo Ruff the reason it gets hate is because of the drama about a fake rape allegation being even a part of the story. Everyone who hates on it doesn't consume the material in any format be it anime, manga, or novel, so they don't even see how that part of the story was implemented. It was not told in a way that insinuates that all women are lying or that it often happens that women lie in those situations. It was simply clear cut an aspect of the story with no political or social intentions, contrary to all of the ones that have been prescribed to it by "woke" people.
