Remember these are live streams that have no plans for YT at least at the moment. Because of that they are way more chill and laid back. I don't take them as seriously as our main series reactions. That being said, this is one of the best movies I've seen. I hope you all enjoy the reaction!

The dub is pretty good, but the one downside is that the version of the music from Radwimps is all sung in english as well, which feels like it's missing something compared to the original japanese. Couldn't be helped in this case since someone bought it for you, though. Oh well. No biggie, you can always look up the original music if you want.

I personally love both, the dedication to make 2 versions off each song is so cool. I can sing along with the English version so it makes it more immersive to me since when you watch the movie in English, you hear the English songs. I know it’s more work but I would appreciate it when any movie does this

This movie is AMAZING, it was number 1 on MAL when it first came out but it's slowly dripped down overtime. I can't wait for A Silent Voice at 350 subs, the movie and manga are beautiful. Top 5ish anime for me, the character writing is so well done.

You were mentioning quite a few plot holes in the movie, which are completely valid. The love for this movie is because it speaks to the heart despite it's minor flaws in comparison. Sad that the Dub used the English versions of the song, the Japanese version is one of the best OSTs I've ever heard.

Watching you just go crazy at the end waiting for them to reveal whether or not she lived and then for them to FINALLY meet brought back everything that I was going through when I watched it for the first time. Funny that you mentioned getting your gf to watch it. My wife (that doesn’t hate anime, but doesn’t watch it) bought the tickets for me to see it in theaters and came with me and she absolutely loved it. You’re 100% right, anime or not, it’s one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. Great reaction. Keep up the movie reactions man. Thanks.

About the dream thing, speaking as someone who actually lives in Japan, studied here and worked here... it’s actually a sad reality how people depend on a schedule here and lives entirely on a routine. At first I used to despise this entire system but after staying here for too long, even my dreams end up with me working or being at school. I stopped having those fantasy type dreams and they end up being more realistic, which sucks because even when sleeping, I work (and go back to work once I wake up). Anyways, I really love your content, to the point I subbing as a patron! Really love your stuff, especially HxH since I practically worship that anime. Sending regards from Japan dude! I am a fan;)

I don't know if you found out Ruff or not but there is a lot of Japanese cultural reference and beliefs in the anime such as Chihiro writing her name and misspelling it actually therefore people say this is why she was able to break free. Things like the river that divides our world with spirits', tunnels. I find those details quite interesting when you read about it and realize oh they actually implemented something that people in Japan hear and grow up with learning from their parents.

I actually think Taki did very well as mitsuha, I could totally imagine her dub voice actor over his when she was in his body and it definitely resembled the way mitsuha spoke.
