the war started after marley lost the colossal titan and female titan,, it was the mid east alliance who started the war because they thought they would be less powerful, easy to beat

Reiner and Bertholdt acted just like Gabi, and potentially any Eldian put in their position would. Their seemingly 'bad' desire to wipe out all the Eldians on Paradis is shown here to just be a means to an end for them to save the Eldian race as whole, or end the cycle of violence, or whatever their true desire may be. I'm not a manga reader for this series, but I just get the vibe that pretty much all the Eldians are victims, so that's why I don't hate Reiner and Bertholdt. Really hyped to see what happens this season though.

The Middle East soldier called them "Devils" because that's what a lot of the world thinks of Eldians, regardless of if they're from Paradise or Marley (hence the internment camps we saw at the end of season 3. they're not treated well by people even from their own country). I'd say if he'd used a word other than Devil, you could construe it to simply be them not wanting help from the enemy, but because we've consistently seen people refer to Eldians as Devils throughout the season, I'd say that this is probably not the reason.

We share the same opinion about the CGI. It was great, but the Beast Titan didn't look as great. As far for the Eldians fighting on Marley's side, well, basically they're discriminated and oppressed by the country they live in. The people from Marley only keeps them, because they're useful for them, and I think it was explained in Grisha's backstory (Eren's father), that they're instructed since childhood that they are bad and Marley is merciful by keeping them sustained, so pretty much the aspirants to warriors are taught to think the Eldians from Paradise are bad. They don't have the whole picture as we the audience do.

Marley might say they wish Eldians were wiped out but they intentionally keep them alive in camps. Not only are they laborers and soldiers, Marley needs Eldian bloodlines aka Titan power. I think last season said Marley's version of history is skewed to make the ancient Eldians look worse, and now Eldian kids are manipulated into being loyal. To think Marley's might is dependent on their scapegoats. Ironic.

Ruff! Ofc you can read the Manga! 😃 It'll just be your dirty little secret 😏 But should you ever read the manga, I would like a manga reaction of it. You could potentially kill 2 birds 1 stone with both the manga and anime reaction. It'll be a nice compare contrast. I will say is that it's full of depression and one hell of a roller-coaster ride so I can't wait to see your reaction. Definitely one of my top tiers tho. Keep up the good work tho!
