ruffsenpai

It’s because it was just uploaded. It takes a bit to completely finalize upload.

Jexu

Emilio

Is the stone ocean premier on YouTube.

Emilio

ruffsenpai

It is not a premiere it is a live stream. So yes, the stream is on YouTube and once it’s done and recorded without the overlay I can upload here. The stream will have the overlay.

Emilio

Kk. I can’t wait

KaitouLuminous

The next set of episodes is going to be amazing

I don't think the fanbase hates the Jaya/Skypiea arc. It just gets pushed to the side compared to later arcs.

Pixa After Dark✓

I honestly didn’t like the skypiea arc when I first watched it. But rewatching and rereading it has really made me appreciate it since I don’t feel like I’m in a rush to catch up to the series. So many things about it have given me the chills and have made me so emotional. I was glad I was able to rewatch this arc again with you so I can see it in a different perspective from my own. I feel this is the most underrated arc in one piece.

Rikin Patel

Yeah like the people above had said, Skypeia was my favourite arc until the later arcs came about. One Piece has 2 of the the greatest sagas in anime history coming up - so arcs like Jaya / Skypeia tend to be overshadowed. I think Skypeias biggest problems were pacing - but I will always love the feeling of adventure and the lore it brings to the world of One Piece :) Can’t wait for your reactions in the future!

bchansta

This is just my theory since I love this arc, but I think maybe the reason people don't like Skypeia is because it doesn't have as many of those classic shonen 1v1 fights where each of the main cast gets a new power and levels up, at least when compared to Alabasta and the later arcs. It's also much more of a self-contained story, which I think makes it even better but might not be what other people like about One Piece.

Rikin Patel

I think Zou is also very VERY underrated. It has that same adventure feeling Skypeia gave but only 30 episodes!

Irawanov

When the bell is ringing, that’s give me chill

bchansta

Also I know that you've probably been burned before by other anime which is why you worry about and fixate on specific plot points (like the gold ball on Luffy's arm), but my best piece of advice when it comes to One Piece is to just trust Oda's writing. If there's something unexplained or something that seems important, you better believe that Oda will pay it off in the most satisfying way somewhere down the line. Even almost 1000 chapters in and he still hasn't failed to disappoint, so just enjoy the ride and don't sweat the small stuff!

MickFoley299

Just keep in mind that Luffy didn't actually defeat God. God is just a title for the ruler of Skypeia and Eneru took it seriously and actually believed that he was God. There is still Christianity or a similar religion and their belief in God in One Piece though because we did see Kuma carrying a bible.

Ruff, I dunno if you know it yet, but Endless Vearth that Enel talks about is the Moon. In the manga there are extra pages in each chapter showing small side stories and 1 of them is Enel + the Moon.

The descendent of the "Great Warrior" Calgara helps ring the bell to allow the descendent of Montblanc Noland hear it's beautiful sound. 400 years later, but the promise is finally kept. Honestly, rewatching this arc again with both AJ Rich and Ruff has reminded me of how much I love it. This moment is definitely one from this series that brings out the tears, hard. The depth Oda went into building up to it, and while it's Luffy who rings the bell, the fact that Wyper is instrumental in it is just so damn cathartic. Also, Nola is best noodle. Like, I love a lot of the animal characters in this series (i.e. Karoo from Alabasta), but the depth Oda even gave to Nola in this arc is just beautiful.

PoinT_BlanK

Honestly people hate this arc because they set some kind of expectation for the arc to be even better than the previous arcs. I can respect how people have different reasons for watching onepiece but so many population of fanbase thinks their thoughts are 100% and others don't deserve to think opposite. Don't bother reasoning with them because all they will try to say is if you don't agree the arc sucks you are stupid which to me is hell of a idiotic statement. Some people focus towards the story rather than the action and some people watches only for the action and I get that. So yeah don't reason with them its waste of time

omi2108

BELIEVE me Ruff, yes one piece has pacing issues! But at the same time you will be used to it because the way in which you have taken a liking in this show you are already too far into it so dont pay attention to anyone who says you will want to quit the show because this show if nothing else has one of the most phenomenal stories out in the world of fiction which you dont wanna miss out on!!

theshittycook

I love Skypiea. It is one of the best arc. Humor, backstory, plot, and bit of pieces info here and there that ties to future arc, I love all of it I don't freaking care what other says. And when I first watched the bell rang back in 2004, goosebumps all over and I cried like a river. I was so touched. It was so good even nowadays I still cherish it.

2021-07-08 19:50:03 it's true that the pacing can get very slow in One Piece but I think the main reason for that is cuz Oda doesnt want the anime to ever catch up to the manga so he has to either extend some scenes to make them feel longer than they actually are or just throw in some filler scenes here and there. Oda has to extend some scenes sometimes in order to reduce the amount of canon content in each episode so he can make the arcs take longer to finish. Doing so gives him more time to write more. However despite the sometimes slow pacing when it picks up it always delivers imo

Im was trying so hard not to yell at the screen telling Ruff that the Golden Ball he was complaining about has a purpose

Oda has nothing to do with the anime besides giving some hints lately for added content. But the problem of the anime is really trying to not catch up. Oda produces a little less than three chapters per month at average and the anime airs weekly. For a good pace with current chapters you would need to adapt 1.5 or 2 chapters at average (because of the unique chapter structure of One Piece the 3 chapters per episode "rule" doesn't work anymore) so it would catch up even faster. This problem could be solved with filler episodes (something at least one of the companys involved – TV station Fuji TV, licence holder Shueisha or producer Toei – doesn't like anymore) or with expanded and slowly delivered content. Or you could go seasonal but the weekly ratings of the show are so good that Fuji TV won't consider a change any time soon.

nick

Oda himself has nothing to do with the production of the anime

F. Carasind

At the moment you spoil because it will be "revealed" in one of the next episodes.

Rixxze_

bro ur mic sounds hella good i see its diffrent or it has a filter lol and it is true the pacing does get bad at a point but it gets better and its hella good

Grady

What a coincidence. I also have only watched those 2 as new reactors to One Piece. Both very different lol. I can't wait for both of them to see the next major arc/saga. It's my favorite in the whole series, even though I acknowledge that a couple of the other later arcs might be better now.

2023-04-28 16:02:46 My favorite is still probably Arlong Park, with two post-ts arcs following in second and third (DR & WCI). W7 & EL are fantastic for sure though.

Wyper was the only choice to bring down Giant Jack. Calgara and Noland were like best friends, so of course his descendent would be the one to help.
