Here are the project files for February's patron-voted comic, featuring Soleil getting wrapped up in Bisou's giant tongue and absorbed into it! Normal stuff, for normal people to enjoy.

Each page of this is its own project file, so there are 3 of each format. The layers and stuff might not be the most organized, since I was really running late trying to finish this set in time for the end of the month, but hopefully they still make sense?

I definitely bit off more than I could chew with this set - a whole 3-page comic is a lot even by my usual standards of overdoing it haha - but I was also just really unsure how to condense such a specific and kinda abstract concept down into something that reads clearly with any fewer drawings than this. Originally I was going to do very limited shading (just highlights and reflections, no shadows) for all of this, or at least keep the mini panels on pg1 restricted to flat colours, but it felt incomplete and I ended up doing my usual full shading (albeit a bit more rushed in some places than usual, which was the most restraint I could manage lol). I also tried using a different brush (the same pen I usually sketch with, and occasionally use in sketchbook stuff) to line this for the first little bit, hoping it would be faster, but I was very wrong and quickly switched back to my normal pencil for the rest of the lines. The most important thing to me was to do the prompt justice, and I think I succeeded? I'm REALLY proud of the motion smear effects on pg1 and the melting sequence on pg2 and learned some tricks that I think will help with more dynamic stuff in the future!

As usual, if you have any questions about my process, feel free to ask via DMs or just in the Discord!

(Note that I use Clip Studio Paint for all of my work. The PSDs will still show you most things just fine, but the CLIP files will be the most accurate for seeing my organization and process as long as you have the software to open them!)
