Messed around with CSP basic animation functions, used Shotcut for editing, and used sounds from Freesound. org Overall took maybe about 7 hours to make this short loop, but a lot of that time was spent learning unfamiliar controls. I'd like to do more animations in the future.

I'm a total animation noob so any and all feedback is welcome.

oh hell yes. my favorite artist is venturing into animation. looks good to me!

Duuuude this is great for 7 hours! You even gave her hood a "floating down" animation when she goes up and then down.

Kento The Fox

My favorite character I'm so happy! Looks good and smooth too

UwU yes yes yes

I admit i like this. Can't say i like the belly thing though. Any chance you could do a ottterton animation?

Luis Enrique

it looks pretty good, but if you want some feedback: -unless you wanted to do rough animation in color, is nice, but if you didn't, the clean up process is missing, you have to clean and color every frame. -the hood is working nice in the top, but the bottom is vibrating too much. -the paws of the guy have no animation xD, one or two frames more could be improve the animation a lot. - My general advice is search for the 12 principles of animation (personally i suggest Alan Becker). pdta. also you could search assistants to help with some processes, furry porn is already popular, buy animated furry porn... thats the real future.

yeah, I didn't have a good ref on hand from how a guy's waist looks like from that angle, tho next time I could probably find one off pornhub easily enough LOL And yeah, Otterton has such a simple figure/design, she'd be a blast to animate.

Yes yes yes! Animated panels soon plzzzzz

I'll admit this was very poorly planned out, haha. I also didn't bother putting many elements on their own layers, which complicated things. I also originally had this running at 24 fps, but it felt too jumpy, so I slowed it to 20 fps which felt like a happy medium. I'll definitely refresh my animation fundamentals tho, especially if I'm gonna put the time into making more of these :)

Question: a while ago you asked us all about you branching out into actual comics. I gave you a thumbs up and even my own idea for such a project. its been some time. I'm curious. Hows that going?

sirocistan

I dm'd you about that, that exact idea isn't something I'll probably do but something with similar substance, shall we say. I'm finishing up Hospitality first, then moving to a new place this week, then full tilt brainstorming for my next project can begin.

mraanonymous

Before you gave me a maybe. This a more in-depth answer. And i like it. I know it'll take a bit to get there but i'm looking forward to your work. Any chance i could help you in any way?

Timmainsson

What do you guys use to view this? I cannot get it to open

waketab

You did a good deed by making this.

Jadelantern

This came right up for me, I love this animation! @Sirocsistan, will you be doing any more of these?

Caseman

Looking great

Amadose

Loving this!

It's all about learning, practicing and testing. Then when you repeat it, you grow, but you must do it everyday to get better

Jaysteal

The animation, while entertaining, needs to be smoother, do some research on body motion, and rhythm motion. Then learn about eye angle viewing and camera angel adjustment, because you can only use one at a time when making an animation short.

Jaysteal

Over all I give your animated short loop a D+
