Hello! My next GameMaker tutorial is going to focus on a practical use for sequences now that we have a general idea of how they work.
By setting up four functions within a script we can create a powerful and flexible transition system that will allow us to build any number of in and out transitions and use them in any combination to travel between game rooms (or even restart a room by just targeting the current room, etc.).
Really the gif above is enough to get you going, but the details, the hows and the whys will becoming in a video soon.
What would you like to learn more about next? After I'm done with this transition video I will work on the topic we select below and also the next ARPG episode (But I haven't decided yet which I'll do first.)
