And the mess ups show how it happens on the first match, happens on everyone’s first big match. And the ceiling serve’s issue with the light is a pretty reasonable reason to not properly receive 🙈

Another amazing video Nick, but a little corrections 1. You missed out the post credit scenes in the last episode like any pointed out 2. Fukuro means owl... so fukurodami -- bokuto's team 3. Hinata showed tremendous growth, his messing ups are actually his actual growth which he didn't have before 4. The common eyecatchers :: crow=karasuno; cats= nekoma; owls=fukurodani

Bokuto is actually my fav character in haikyuu (i read the manga ;)) He helped Tsukki's character development along with Kuroo and is Hinata's inspiration ! He's soooo cool

Cant believe he's still complaining about going to third sets when the author have shown multiple times that no matter how long the game is he will make it good and emotional.

The thing with Hinata's receiving is that he's not used to it, so his timing to receiving the ball is off. So those 2 times he received the timing was off and he moved too far front, it hitting his chest. Also, an underhand serve is very much allowed. It's just shocking because it's such a beginner move. Also, there is a height limit to serves, but they're not fixed. If the ball hits the ceiling, it's the opponents point.

The Suga and Daichi slander this episode was uncalled for XD Daichi has scored plenty of times before, and even if he doesn't show off his receiving skills on screen here doesn't mean he's valuable. Remember that time Daichi got hit in the face and how the team almost lost? Suga also isn't a bad player and gives more option for attacks when Kageyama is there since Kageyama is also a good attacker.

the lack of daichi recognition is sad.. this is unlike any of your normal animes where we're given "filler scenes" to pass time, I think if you treated it that way a bit more you'd find a whole new appreciation for the anime (which transcends what is already a top 5 anime). i dont say this with mal-intent rather just mentioning how much greater this anime is if you consider all storylines/arcs, love what you do. sorry if it comes across that way

The whole point of daichi is that he isn't flashy or necessarily special. Hes the 2nd best reciever on the team and the one that keeps the foundation solid. Without him karasuno would be full of holes when it comes to defense

The underhand serve that kid did, is a real thing in volleyball, however it’s not commonly seen in indoor volleyball. It’s mostly a beach volleyball thing because there’s no ceiling and it’s called a sky ball. But it works exactly like they show in the show. The point is to use when the sun is high in the sky so when the other team looks up to receive it, the ball gets lost as the sun blinds them and it’s hard to receive, even when wearing sunglasses, and especially if it’s windy and the ball is moving around. I’ve never personally seen it indoors because even in high ceiling venues where it’s possible to hit a ball that high, lights aren’t typically bright enough to blind people properly. It’s still really cool that they included it though.

I think there’s an after credits scene that was missed for episode 12. It’s not super crucial to the volleyball plot but it will be confusing for you at the start of the next episode

at 41:05 when you’re talking about the strong team we’re facing and the question marks, it actually does show what team we’re facing. The opponent’s name is below Karasuno’s name and they’re called Inarizaki and I won’t spoil the rest of the team but that is Miya Atsumu’s team. Atsumu is the one from the training camp in early season 4 that told Kageyama that he’s a goody two shoes on the court. Also, the website you are using split up season 4. Yes, There is part 1 and part 2 but it’s all one season. Part one is episodes 1-12 and part two is 13-25. All a part of season 4 though!
