I wonder why people hate MHA so hard except for the cringe side of the fanbase, like I've been watching this show without too much expectations and it was an enjoyable show at first and it even started to get really good at some point, even more by reading the manga (which is better). + people hate the cringy fanbase but most of them are in middle school so who gives a shit + y'all need to stop basing your opinions out of people and make your own opinion fr.

I don't even consider MHA an anime. Its like a crappy American cartoon show with super powers that should be on Nickelodeon. Boring, characters are garbage, powers system is terrible, and the main character is the biggest pussy in the world.

I haven't watched haikyuu because it's not my kind of anime and i also didn't enjoy Kuroko no basket. I dropped mha at the villain arc, because it was kind of boring. Code Geass has a good story, not great but good, but i hate the mecha shit in the show. Slime is fun and parts are really great and emotional, for me the second best show in this poll. Steins gate is also cool but not as good as other shows on the list. Overlord went downhill in season 4. I think too many people here haven't watched made in abyss. The story, the worldbuilding, the character writing, the animation and the music and production quality is on movie level and not even comparable to any other show on this list. It is so much better, imo. For me it is 1. Made in abyss . . . 2. Slime 3. Overlord 4. Code geass 5. MHA 6. SteinsGate

I can't see any of this special fanbase here. I only see haters. I watched mha, and i dont get it why its so hated. I enjoyed the whole series. its not the best but it was pretty solid.

Yeah, MHA is actually pretty good. Even at its worst (second half of S4/early S5) it's only mediocre. It's never straight up bad and generally, it's been getting better as it goes on. S6 was the best season by a significant amount imo and I'm hyped for next season. Code Geass is definitely a better show, but I'm totally cool with MHA winning. Its a really solid show.

Based on your tastes, I think you'd enjoy Overlord, followed by MHA, the most, but if you ever want to watch peak, Code Geass is where it is at. All of these shows are good pre-reqs for when you ever make it to Evangeleon and TTGL.

To be honest... I want to see all of the Anime in the poll. Most fav is Code Geass and Steins Gate. I would die for Steins Gate! Slime, MHA and Made in Abyss were fucking great too. Good thing: you will finish most of the series faster than Black Clover or HxH. Cant wait for the new shows :)

Lately it seems like Nick is only watching shonen shows that are 5+ seasons long and people are getting sick of it and want variety. Its no wonder there is this split of people wanting him to watch something other than MHA. Its getting draining seeing him pick up another shonen and not something that would bring in new anime fans. Im also going to call out a lot of people with this one but all the people saying MHA is getting so much shit and is so hated solely becuase of the "fandom" i think isnt true. The only people bringing up the "fandom" in a bad light are the MHA viewers themselves. What i have been reading besides "I hate it, its Shit!" and the problems people have with it that have watch more than a few episodes are as fallows. "The anime has high highs but also very low lows. It falls off after season 3 (gets boring). The side characters are awful. " Anyways im not hating on shonen but i think the general opinion right now is nicks viewers want him to watch something that isnt Copy and paste MC who is weak slowly over 5 seasons grows stronger and beats the bad guy all for his friends and dreams.

MHA is such a long series and is kinda mid S3 with the exception of the My Villain Academia arc in the manga, and like half of S6. The only other highlight beyond that is the music, OPs and EDs, Shigiraki, and maybe Endeavor which they kinda fumbled later.
