Really want to get done with this arc because im really excited for what's to come. Really hyped for this Gon/Gentru fight though.

Nick what matters isn’t the cards it’s the strategy they each one use to get to their objective, the cards are just there to increase the complexity beyond only nen. Chimera arc also has a lots of planing and strategizing, so you better get used to it

yes i agree the cards are fine but it's just about the general goal of the arc and it's better to understand what that is. I wish he would at least pay attention to what they are talking about and what they're doing instead of complaining or not paying attention every time any character besides the phantom troupe is on screen

No he wasn't right. It was their last teleport card. The villains were literally farming teleport cards and they knew they had more. The strategy was to leave the game and give all their cards to Goreinu while they act like they gave up on the game, forfeiting all their cards.

This arc really divides people, they usually either hate it or love it, i'm the second type, I love yorknew city too of course, the hunter exam have some slow parts when rewatching (mainly the contest with the tags)

Nah people are weird and over hype shit... Chimera Arc is way too over hyped its trash to even say its close to best Arc of all time is an insult... Its nothing compared to L Arc Death Note, Female Titan AOT, Bleach Soul Society Arc, BC Elf Reincarnation Arc, One Piece Marineford/Enies Lobby Arc, Naruto Pain Arc or even DBZ Cell/Freiza Arc I can go on... Chimera Ant and Skypiea Arc from One Piece are the worst arcs I've seen in anime complete yawn fest... I personally think Phantom Troupe Arc is the best in HxH and closer to being Best Arc of all time

Believe it or not Kalluto, Killua’s sibling that replaced Hisoka as #4 is a boy. Hunter x Hunter was very progressive with gender expression, especially given when these chapters were written.

The reasons you enjoy an arc is different for others, there is no definitive answer. But overall the chimera ant arc is considered one of the best anime arcs to date, it always ranks very high on anime critics website and through polls. Just bcs it's not at your liking, doesnt mean the majority who do enjoy it have a shit taste. The arc has graphic content, sense of immediate danger and death, great villains, MC's character development, s-tier ending and fights Also "The people who like Chimera Ant Arc are the same people who prefer Vinland Saga season 2 over 1", do you have a url with stats or straight cappin now?

But no way you said 'great writing' sarcastically for Frieza arc and then compare it to Ants kill humans king is born, king goes to play board games with a blind girl, all the hunters lose to the elite guards, knuckle runs around, Gon has a tantrum, the king kills old man, old man uses a final attack, then the elite guards and king get killed in the least unsatisfying way ever... Best friend dying triggers Transformation to Super Saiyan which was a prophecy that was teased earlier in the show and producing a globally iconic moment, then there was a great battle, planet destruction, satisfying victory for the MC and cliff hanger making it out that he died with the planet being destroyed.... Compare that to the Hunters lose all there fights to the King & Elite ants but then the Elite ants and King die to gas, meanwhile Gon has a Tantrum and nearly commits suicide to gain power for brief amount of time... Oh and the king plays more board games and the blind girl dies too... Wow so good right... NOT... What utter trash GAME OF THRONES HAD A BETTER ENDING Also the King is literally a rip off Cell
