It’s not over. There’s still 3 Death Note movies (Japan) which expand on L.(not to be confused with the Netflix trash) And a manga volume “How to read” which gives you more. But more importantly, there’s a Death Note Drama with live-action actors that follow the show to the T. It’s really amazing and the actors are perfect. It’s amazing to see all of death note with real people. If you like this my next recommendation is CODE GEASS which has the same mind-games vibe. But with Giant Robots and hot babes. Only 2 seasons.

Now that you've finished, have you noticed the obvious similarities of Light and Ryuk. While Light keeps his composure when talking to Raye Pember's fiancé, Ryuk is just laughing his ass off. That's basically signifying how Light feels on the inside.
