I was meaning to watch the show in english, glad I held back to watch it together with you.

Unlike other anime, this one is based on an American made video game so in my opinion it was meant to be watched in English.

Fun detail: David's voice actor is the the one that voices Tanjiro in the Demon Slayer English dub, and the the voice actor of the bully Katsuo voices Zenitsu.

It's probably mentioned quite a few times but "The game" is actually a memory of the original wearer of the Sandevistan before he died. His mom, who is an EMT, managed to steal it off his corpse and was planning to sell it to the the Edgerunner crew, but she died. They talked about it in... episode 2 I believe :P

Yo Nick, if you liked the cyberpunk universe/world, I definitely recommend you watching Altered Carbon (Netflix, not anime), Ghost in the Shell (Netflix, anime, what Altered Carbon was based off of), Psycho-Pass (Crunchyroll, anime, suspense thriller), and Akira (if you still haven't watched it yet lol). Those are all in the "cyberpunk genre" just like Bladerunner, Tron, Ready Player One, a lot of episodes from Black Mirror, and many more
