Chapter 1952: Unexpected Visitor

With everything settled, after finishing their meal, Da Niu didn't accompany Shu Yu back to the shop.

Shu Yu, with Ying Xi, strolled leisurely back, this time taking the main entrance of Fu Yuan Street.

However, as they walked, they noticed someone lurking nearby.

"Why is it Chen Qiu again?" Ying Xi frowned. "She's so persistent. What does she want to do?"

"Wang Yue already explained, didn't she?
She's still fixated on Zhou Tiedong."

Ying Xi felt disgusted. "What's the point of her not giving up? Zhou Tiedong won't pay her any attention. Miss, isn't it a bit inappropriate for her to loiter outside our shop like this?"

"It is indeed not very good. Who knows if she might be provoked into doing something. Go to the Pan family and tell them to keep an eye on Chen Qiu. If she ever does anything harmful to the Lu Ji, then it won't be my fault."

"I understand, Miss."

Ying Xi turned and hurried to Ten Li Lane.

Shu Yu glanced at Chen Qiu as if she hadn't seen her and calmly returned to the shop.

As for Chen Qiu, she shrank back when she saw Shu Yu's figure and gritted her teeth. She hid herself even deeper, her eyes filled with resentment.

Shu Yu gave a light sneer. She waited in the shop for about twenty minutes, and Ying Xi returned.

"Miss, the people from the Pan family came and took Chen Qiu away. They said they would keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't do anything harmful to Lu Ji."

"Understood."

Regarding Chen Qiu's situation, she trusted the Pan family, which had experienced significant setbacks, to learn their lesson and not get involved with her again.

For now, she didn't need to worry about it. Shu Yu began to calculate how much merchandise to reserve for the next shipment from Dong'an Prefecture.

She had discussed with Jiang Fengshou that there would be another event during the Dragon Boat Festival. However, by then, Shu Yu should be back home, and Jiang Fengshou would be responsible for the event entirely. She would only observe the results.

With only two months left until the Dragon Boat Festival, she estimated how much inventory needed to be set aside.

She wrote and calculated, and she was so busy that it was time to close the store.

Jiang Fengshou said goodbye and left. Shu Yu didn't pay much attention. However, not long after, he returned with his wife.

Shu Yu, "..." Did he really need to be in such a hurry?

Jiang Fengshou, with a familiar grin, said, "Boss, take a look. This is my wife, Ah Lan."

Shu Yu scrutinized her for a while. She was a somewhat introverted and delicate woman, judging by her attire and calloused hands, she was used to hard work.

She nodded and asked a few questions. Although she wasn't as sharp as Jiang Fengshou, she answered honestly and straightforwardly, just as he had described.

"Alright, come over tomorrow and try it out. If you do well, you can stay."

"Thank you, Boss. Thank you, Boss."

On the third day after Ah Lan arrived, Da Niu and Da Zhuang set off on their journey back home.

Shu Yu saw them off, not expecting that when she returned, she would encounter an unexpected visitor in the store.

Jiang Fengshou said, "Master Gan has been waiting for half an hour. It seems he has something to discuss with you. He looks quite happy, so it might be good news."
