HOWDY! Happy Friday everyone! I know I literally said I probably wouldn't be doing BTS stuff today since I haven't done new music in a while, but LOOK AT LIFE! Saying NOPE! hahha. Anyways, I wanted to bring you my reaction to their brand new video for STAY GOLD! I love this song still, so I was very excited to see the visuals! I wasn't disappointed! :P

Also, I want to confess, I reacted to BLACKPINK's new song and music video today also! I will be putting it on YouTube, but I was wondering if you guys were interested in the unedited version on Patreon? I know this is mainly BTS stuff, but if a couple of people want it, I'll put it up! If not, its okay! Just wanted to test the waters!! 💜💜

I'm pretty sure that's a real set/meadow and not CGI haha

Jessica McGuire

Big Hit posted a series of photos on IG showing them building the "meadow". They built the pond, the tree, and used real plants, grass and flowers, for the area that the boys wandered around in. The more distant parts of the scene were CGI, though, as the flowers and all extended in the background. Also, no, this isn't part of the story line. This is a song for ARMY and there really isn't one of those that is used in the story line. "Make It Right" comes close, since references to the video for that song are in the video for "ON". As far as the gold dust not changing anything, well, it didn't really change the surroundings that the boys were in when it found them, either. They moved to a different place and the flash of light before they see the meadow looks like an eye opening up. The gold dust changed the boys thoughts and feelings, it changed the person, not their surroundings. At the end, when Tae touches the purple moss and creates more gold sparkles, those sparkles go off into the darkness to seek out more people. Since they're created when he touches the purple, it's implied that the gold dust is created when BTS and ARMY unite. Working together, we lift each other up and help each other "Stay Gold". We help each other find happiness, even in dark surroundings. That's what I got from it, anyway.
