April Update (Patreon)

Hello! I've been a bit quiet due to all the comic work, which thank you for reading and your nice comments! It makes me very happy to hear that you liked it. Originally I wanted to take a small break, but honestly the reception makes me want to jump back on it immediately lol... If you haven't read it then here's your second reminder of the day to do so. But now that it's out of the way I want to update you all on a few things! First of all:

Merch Preorders

The acrylic and wooden charms have shipped! They currently are in Mexico and heading my way, the shipping isn't the quickest so we can expect them to get to me in about 2 weeks at most, hopefully less time!

Rubber keychains and plushes are still in production! No estimated times for the keychains, but since the plushes are handmade locally, while that makes the wait for them to be finished sooner than the keychains, please keep in mind it's only one person making all of them! Your patience is appreciated.

Due to this orders that only include charms and or shikishi board commissions will be shipped first. Orders that include either rubber straps or plushes will have to wait a bit longer! With a maybe on the latter as mentioned before.

Once the acrylic charms arrive, I hope to ship them out within 2 weeks. We're nearing the end of the month and that usually is the busiest time for me, so I'll apologize in advance if shipping ends up moving to the beginning of May! I thank you for your patience in advance.

General Patreon work lol + 2nd anniversary

Comic is finally out of the way! Still got a few kinks to iron out but it's definitely not the main focus for now, so back to regular illustrations for now! I haven't painted anything digitally since the 31st.... I miss it already! So look forward to new drawings, I've got quite a few ideas that I'm excited to make.

Next month will mark the 2nd year of this Patreon running, time flies!! Unfortunately I don't think I'll make any cool events like the contests from last year, I don't really have any prizes planned!! Besides offering drawings lol, which still is nice but it doesn't feel as special as I would like to.

Prizes aside, I also don't really have any ideas of what to make a contest out of.... Last year's allowed for pretty flexible entries, but right now I'm running at a blank. The only thing that comes to mind is a contest for funny/creative ways to kill a mogi, besides that I don't know lol. But if you have any ideas or even want more contests let me know!

One thing that will return from last year is the special polls with my characters! For now I'm thinking of reusing the same themes from last year (except the winning one, hot springs) since they were still fun ones to work around with. If you have any additional themes you would like to suggest feel free to!

When will Taifau Cafe continue??

I don't know! The next part is already sketched out, so a good bunch of the planning is already taken care of. I mostly just need to properly schedule and pace myself, the troubles I ran into were because I work in a very messy way!!!! I may be working on page 1, leave it close to done and move to page 5 because I find it more interesting, and so on, it's very easy to keep track of how much progress there actually is.... I'll try to streamline the way I work so I can keep consistently making progress!

I may start setting weekends aside to work on it, (not the first or last time I've said this!!!!!) but in reality who knows, I may take change my schedule to one month work only on comic, the next on just illustrations and switch like that. We'll see how things go
