metal slug is one of my favorite arcade games, so i was pretty happy that fio was the winner! gave me an excuse to revisit the 2nd one and come up with a composition based off one of the stages, the intro of stage 3 is so funny i had to go with it. i feel like i bit a more than i could chew with it, it's definitely noticeable during the timelapse lol, the whole process ended up being close to 9 hours.. so i apologize for not being able to finish it during may. EDIT: it's up and running now! thanks for the wait

as for the other drawing the character belongs to drake the sly!  for personal illustrations ive been trying to move away slightly from my usual color palettes, especially trying to incorporate shades of green lol. trying to lower down the saturation a bit to enhance the brighter colors and generally have a better balance of them in general. its a nice challenge and a good change of pace, it can get a bit tiring to feel limited on color choices when working on commissions since people expect certain things, so these pieces are definitely a good break from that, even if it might not be super noticeable haha

thank you all again for your support!! it's been extremely overwhelming, i seriously cannot believe how well things are going! it makes me very happy and super grateful for you all, i hope to keep making more drawings that you all can enjoy
