I've got the last set of pages from Chapter 3 for you!

We get to the final fight scene of the chapter. I was always disappointed with my ability to draw action and make a fight look interesting (which I had tried practicing when I did the fight in chapter 7) and it was fun to take the opportunity to add a little more life to this one. The Guppies are pretty harmless and their fighting is played for jokes so I thought it would be good to make it funny when Scarlet beats them up. It's a small detail too but having Scarlet spike the last one away is showing that she used to be a volleyball player in high school, which I made a single mention to in ch8 on her resume and it might come into play again in a later chapter. Little details like that are fun to mix into the early stuff so it feels like it's all weaved together intricately.

Edgar comes out and Scarlet is still a victim of the suit overheating. I wanted Edgar to express that he's not trying to boss her around (even though he is her boss), but his actions are out of his concern for her well being more than anything. He wants to help her back inside but he's out of shape and scrawny so he can only drag her in. Scarlet remembers her daydream of lifting Edgar and it's funny to play up how different those two scenes are.

Ula shows her resourcefulness by vlogging from the tree she's stuck in which helps sell that she really operates on the whims of whatever will keep her brand growing. She's really extra and feels more fitting with how the Guppies are, everything they do barely makes sense and they operate on their own logic. I ended up making the tree branch break instead of the clothing tear since it makes more sense. Also with her new outfit, if it tore from the branch then Ula would be doing the walk of shame home with her pussy out and I don't need to put that idea in people's heads! The comic will have some sexy moments but when they're necessary, and this is not one of those times! hahaha

That's the whole chapter!! I won't post anything more of it until the full thing is done and I'll put the PDF up for you all. I'll have to actually draw some normal non-comic things to have new art to post until then. It's tough to doodle when you're chipping away at comic pages every day though but I'll try to make a more serious effort. I'll see you all next post!

Love the scene changes to match with the character's! I do like this "goofier" take on Ula, she comes across as more relatable!

I’m sorry, 19 hours! She’s stuck for 19 hours!
