quick updates + visual behind the scenes stuff and🍑es (Patreon)

Hey all, got some renders making a move - may have a video loop coming off the burner potentially within the week, and another I'd like to have follow soon after. Things sort of slowed down this month, hard to really lay the whole thing out into perspective but putting it bluntly I wasn't feeling happy with a lot of my work and had some in-person stuff, but I'm feeling better. A few other mentions:

• I have a Rixia scene that's slowly making it out of a creative rut and into a better place. Didn't feel too hopeful about its direction but I think it's getting there, so hopefully I'll have more on that eventually.
• The Anila draph zuri I shared a picture of is getting some reassessment since I found the physics to feel a bit too light for the size she's sporting and wasn't vibing with the results. I'll have something for this since there's some changes I think that would do better with her personality but it's going to need some further polishing and adjustments, apologies for the wait on everything!😭

The rest of this post will contain a bunch of behind the scenes stuff I collect over time whether it's between renders, something I do when progress isn't going smoothly, and etc.
It's a bit lengthy but should mostly be pictures and video along with all the nerdy tech commentary.

For starters here's a few things from the Discord that I'll quickly cover from the top:

• Included some experimental creaming in that old Ryza thighjob scene for its eventual 4K 60fps/VR re-render. Almost good to go aside from the intro. I recently assembled a dedicated rendering machine to handle the strain of VR renders and other exports off of my main working computer.

• Some environment and shader building for the asset library and future plans (really happy with the water shader!):

• An animated outtake from 🍑 Day 2023 - I wanted this to evolve into a full scene since I really like the framing but there's a lot of camera trickery and posing that makes VR POV complicated with how the POV is leaning back, so for now I'd put this in "potential scrap" territory or something to revisit/re-approach with more confidence as the perspective may need adjusting. I have lots I still want to animate with Eunie in case it doesn't work out. Her model also received a few recent updates for quality of life and ease, especially in terms of clothing and physics for undressing and teases.
• In the meantime you can get the short clip here, also with an interlink version by demand. 

• Not pictured here but I began importing the rest of the Three Houses characters to work universally with the new body edit to make model swaps easier, and also make updating my models from the game much easier. There's been a lot of requests for characters like Dorothea and such so it would be nice to finally expand past the Deers, haha.
• A MH:Rise post processing and shader test to experiment with a few visual features. Fiorayne can undress but the edit still needs work, I don't touch this session too often honestly but it's on an eventual to-do list since lady knights are nice, and I'd like to do more with Hinoa and Minoto as well.

• I missed the Nier train early on when it came to animations but I've always wanted some videos done with characters in Automata since I loved my time with the game and have fond memories with it. They're a great fit for my style of 🍑 jiggles and don't have a lot in terms of good VR, though it's also hard to do something when it feels like a character is already so well covered y'know?

Very early progress:

For a popular character I wasn't really happy with the models available online, so in my usual fashion I made my own original game-accurate body sculpt...
I don't expect 2B to have a nude thing going often, this has more to do with making future edits easier for characters like A2, the YoRHa commander, and so on since they're all built on a similar body framework.

No estimates at the moment when I'll put these into a production but it's a background thing for now. It's tempting to see some jiggle, though...

And since we like doing it here, I learned how to import the environments! Atmospherics are still a work in progress but it should actually feel like being there in the game once the visual direction is fully matched, especially within VR.
