Path of the Sunken Skull 36x24 Part 3 (Patreon)

Hi Hi There.

This is a series of three maps that work well together. I will provide you with a story to use them in conjunction, but you can use them however you see fit.

Remembering the main story:

Our heroes have been hired by a local merchant who has suffered numerous losses of cargo due to strange phenomena occurring in a section of the forest traversed by trains. Trains passing through this area often experience malfunctions, supplies disappear without a trace, and some conductors have reported seeing spectral figures and strange lights. Desperate for a solution, the merchant sends the heroes to investigate and resolve the mystery.

In this third map, the heroes encounter the continuation of the train tracks that traverse the forest and come across an area with a cave that provides access to the stone bridges spanning the tracks. These bridges offer a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape and serve as strategic points for those looking to intercept trains as they pass.

Bandits have used these stone bridges to ambush trains and steal the cargo they carry. The elevated position of the bridges gives the bandits a tactical advantage, allowing them to launch surprise attacks and escape quickly.

Using their knowledge of the submerged skull in the lake, the bandits have learned the conditions under which the skull emits its vibrations and have found ways to trigger these vibrations to cause the trains to stop, making them easier to rob.
