Whew, quite a lot of scene setting going on in these monologue boxes, hopefully it's clean and interesting!

Though we won't be spending any time in the city, I don't want to just breeze by it on our way up to Carcosa. Though I don't want to push the imagery too hard, I enjoy the idea of a city laying in the shadow of a sleeping dragon
