This past month was the most difficult, dangerous and yet exciting time of my life. I’m filled with gratitude now as I settle back into my life in NYC and the USA. I still have to keep the details of my travels a secret for the time being, given the nature of the work I was doing… but don’t worry, I will reveal my journey as soon as possible. In the meantime, I’ve been cleaning, organizing and editing. I have been working hard over these past few days to get my life in order and make sense of my mind. I am determined to catch up on my editing and organize my life both physically and digitally. Here is a series of photos of me standing with my mixed media art series from about a year ago. This is all a major work in progress, as is life, however I am proud of what I have accomplished thus far and I look forward to the opportunity to create more physical works like this someday once I can save the money for materials and space. I am a bit disheartened at the moment because I am planning to drive down to miami for Art Basel, yet no one is accepting physical art for shows anymore, everything is digital. Every show I’m hearing about is focused around NFT’s. I’m still trying to understand this concept and create my own NFTs. I believe I have found some success with this but it is still so foreign and confusing to me. I hope that physical art is still sought after and I pray that I can understand more and integrate these new ways each day.
