Modeling this Morning (Patreon)

Although in a perfect world, I would only be naked in nature, I do feel extremely lucky that I can take on part time nude fine art and modeling work here in New York City. These are the days and the moments that make me eternally grateful for existing in this concrete jungle. This morning I had another shoot with a man named Bradley Butler who found me on model Mayham, and hired me to shoot for the first time a few weeks ago. This morning was our second shoot (at FD studios in queens)… There are a few locations for this studio, they are beautiful different rooms with varying features. Although I was exhausted this morning from traveling to see my family in Boston this weekend spending time with my loved ones, relaxing naked in nature, i made sure to gather my energy and get to the shoot on time so that I could make some money and practice being in front of the camera. I believe it’s important to experience being both behind the camera and in front of the camera to learn more about the human gaze. This experience lens itself to a heightened understanding of the photographic business and allows me to see more, I have a greater understanding and vision from having this multiplicity of experiences around the art. There is a very long and deep conversation around the male gaze versus the female gaze and how that corresponds with our societal norms and understandings of the human body and mind. I am extremely proud to be a female photographer, artist, and model, and to offer a new lens and light to the dominant narrative. I feel very lucky to have the desire to create pure beauty in this world.
