These images are self portraits of myself and soulmate / twin flame, kat, in Summit County, CO taken in August of 2018, shortly after I moved from NM to CO and about a month after we met each other. This was a very special day. Rain was falling, it was freezing, as we were at about 10,000 ft. elevation and then a rainbow came. I'm so grateful for this friend and for this time. During this shoot we took our angel/ visions photograph that I recently made into a large scale mixed media piece (see website & instagram).

During this time of global closure / shutdown / quarantine, I've been doing a lot of art, reading and organizing of my photography, work and life. "Let your soul fly" are some lyrics I heard in a song today. I'm making note of words and phrases from songs and books that I've been listening to and reading. I always do this, to help organize my inspiration and thoughts, however I've had the time and space to dive deeper recently. I've started a graffiti wall on the fence at my childhood home, I'm including words on my art again, despite extreme prior critique. Just following my heart and soul... letting myself fly.

Great stuff! I get the feeling of a vital, alive, celebration! It looks like you both enjoyed the experience. As raw as conditions are in nature and as difficult as they are during the current Covid crisis these pictures invite one to step on some dirt, open one's arms to the breeze and embrace our dearest friends!
