This is me + kat. We were born into different families but i see her not only as my sister but as my twin. We look very similar, and act very similar. Sometimes its scary, but always wonderful. Sometimes when I look at her face i see me. It's so strange. I know we look different, and we are different, but sometimes it's confusing and hard to tell, especially at first place or when flipping through photos, phones, so fast, at the speed of light. I love her to death. We met high in the sky, in the mountains of Colorado around a fire on the fourth of July a few summers ago, in one of the most unexpected moments, places in space. Thats the beauty of life, to be handed a soulmate in the middle of nowhere, when you seemingly have nothing, yet everything. So thankful for her and our relationship. She somehow, through the beauty of serendipity, stopped in NYC a week or two ago on her way back to CO from Vietnam. It was a miracle. We slept, made lots of food, talked, did yoga, and squeezed in this cozy indoor shoot with David Fitschen in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Thank god for friends, photos, and warmth.
