Back in Colorado after NYC & Boston (Patreon)
Content
I had a pretty crazy art show in New York City a few weeks ago now. It was a heat wave and there was no AC. That being said, I made some incredible connections and had the best time being surrounded by my art and working on some new paintings. I miss the city so much and it feels like home. I tried to make a post a few times during the show but this website / app seems to be glitching from my phone so I’ll have to try to make some more intentional posts soon using using my computer, which occasionally works better. Some days I’ve been able to upload fans a little bit easier so feel free to follow me there as well as I post different content to both platforms. Anyway, I have so much to say and so many thoughts, but perhaps I’ll just have to make a video soon. I’ve also been shadow band again on YouTube with two strikes on my channel from posting a piece of my performance art from the city. I’ve been able to share quite a bit on Instagram so I guess that’s my most reliable source of updates. That being said, the transition back to Colorado has been tough, but now that I’m starting to adjust elevation again and adjust my surroundings. I’m feeling happy. I was able to stop at a beautiful Hot Springs yesterday and this morning on my way to work after partaking in a music video experience with a new musician friend at great Sand Dunes national park. I miss the ocean so much but I’m embracing my time here in the mountains and all that great out west has to offer. I slept in my car for the last two nights and even though it takes a little bit of adjusting and I’m still perfecting my bed. It is so incredibly comfortable and fun to just be able to sleep anywhere in nature. I can’t wait to do van life in a more consistent way, and we have a trailer to travel from, I’m feeling overwhelmed with life and options about where to move and want to do or who to be but one thing I do know is that I’m continuing to work on my art and I’m getting some really exciting collaboration projects with my sister-in-law Nina ❤ who lives here in Summit County and we will be selling our art together this summer at the Art walks in Silverthorne Colorado ..:there are a few sample pieces in this post.
